This weekend I went to the Dawson Creek Musuem/Visitor Information Centre with Chelsie and Joel for an engagement session. It was a bit cool, but not as cold as it could have been. And we got some great images. To see them, click on More.
Breakforth in Edmonton
A week ago right now, Colette and I were about halfway through the first plenary session. I brought my camera, but only broke it out on Sunday for Brian Doerksen and band. He pulled out a lot of material I wasn’t familiar with, but I was stoked when he broke out “More”, which was one of my favourite songs back at Willingdon.

Listed on wedj.ca
Hey:
We’re now listed on wedj.ca. (That’s not my picture, BTW).
If you came here via that link, do let us know. Or if you just stumbled past this site and liked the cut of our jib, we’d like to know that, too.
Best of 2008: Portraits
I love taking pictures of people. I love taking creative pictures of people. This year I really pushed that, and the results were outstanding, if I do say so myself.
How about you? Any favourites on the year that I didn’t include? Feel free to comment.
Best of 2008: Bridal shoots
This year I went out with a number of models (some former brides, some not) to work out some ideas that I had. This isn’t the full realization of what I want to do with bridal shots, but a few tentative steps and a few great images.
Best of 2008: Other
This is a broad reaching category. There’s a lot of outdoorsy shots, but a couple shots that didn’t really fit anywhere else, or I chose not to fit anywhere else so that I could add them here….
Best of 2008: Grads
This year, I was invited to shoot the grad ceremonies, as well as some one-on-one portraits with grads who were interested. Not exactly my favourite style of shooting (I much prefer getting out with the grads to their favourite spots, with their favourite car or guitar or horse), but even so, there were some great images.
