About this series:

Trent Ernst (that’s me) is a wedding and portrait photographer serving Dawson Creek, Fort St. John, Grande Prairie and Prince George, as well as points in between and farther afield. At the end of 2008, I (being the aforementioned Trent) sat down to look through my photographs for the year to see what photographs I had taken but hadn’t done anything with. Some are work related, but most are personal shots taken randomly throughout the year.

My Broken Hero played at Grizfest. I used a picture of Dustin for my PAD back in August, but never went through and looked at the rest of the images. Until now. Here are some shots of him (he’s the lead singer, has blonde hair) and Nik (who sings and plays guitar and is not related to me).

Again, from the church picnic. It was held at the saddle club so there was a bit of a western theme.

Dawson Creek Wedding Show Photographs

_MG_1120

Here are some pictures from the Divine Design Bridal Expo in Dawson Creek yesterday. Actually, here are a whole bunch. So many, in fact that I am going to do something that I rarely do. I am going to truncate the post. You’re going to have to click more to see all the photos. I’m sure you’ll figure it out…. Continue reading “Dawson Creek Wedding Show Photographs”

Thanks Everyone!

Hey!

To all those who came up and said hi today, I just wanted to say thanks for taking the time, even if you had a photographer booked.

For those who stopped by simply to comment on our images, thanks to you, too. Being a typical male, I need that positive reinforcement to massage my fragile ego.

If this is your first time here, feel free to look around. The site is designed as a blog. You can see more of my work simply by scrolling down. If you are interested in looking at wedding pictures, you can visit our wedding gallery, or see all the posts we’ve marked as wedding related. Or you can scroll down. I’m in the midst of a two-week series showcasing pictures from last year that I missed the first go around. Before that, I posted some of my favourite images from 2007. There are some great shots there, and worth checking out.

If you’re looking for pictures from the show, give me until tomorrow. We had to go into Fort St. John to pick the girls up from grandmas, then drive all the way back home. It is late, and I’m a bit worn out.

If you’re one of the people who stopped by, feel free to leave a comment (here or below your favourite photo), or send us an email. We love hearing from you. As mentioned in the brochure that most of you should have received, you can visit the Eye For Detail Photography page  on Facebook, or friend Trent up

If you’re one of the runway models, expect photos to start showing up here and over there tomorrow. And if you want to tag yourself or the people you know, that would be great. I only got names of a couple of you, and it would be great to see who everyone is.

Just a reminder to all of you heading for Cuba, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic or Mexico, we are free to travel, and would gladly provide a quote. While there are photographers down there (often supplied by the resort), I know some of you really like my style. And the fact is, the only person in this big old world who shoots like me is me.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I’m very approachable, and when not out shooting, I am usually on the computer far to many hours a day, so you can expect a response back fairly quick.

Other than that…once again, thanks all for a terrific event.

Trent
