Jony and Lisa: How I Saw It Slideshow
Here’s a quick slideshow from Jony and Lisa’s wedding.

A Name Unheard was in Tumbler Ridge a few weeks ago for the Concert: A Loud Night Out. They rocked, as usual, though the crowd was small and unwilling to get up and move for them. I don’t say that critically; I don’t get up and dance for anyone, either. I’m not really a dancer, much to my wife’s displeasure….
Fair disclosure: Colette took these photos, as I was behind the drumkit when these were taken. I know, she’s supposed to be the business side of things round here, but the fact is, she’s pretty creative, too. Most of the albums are designed by her these days, and I’m starting to convince her to start taking some pictures, too. Keep this up, and pretty soon I’ll have worked myself out of a job…
You’ve already met Jony and Lisa (and if you are Jony and Lisa you’re now happily married and back from cavorting across the globe), and if not, all you have to do is scroll down a bit.
Anyway. They were all a photographer could ask for. “Hey, wanna stand on your heads while drinking orange crush?” “Sure!” Not that I made them do anything quite so silly, only knowing that they would have given it a royal try if I asked made it worthwhile. (And it’s not about power, it’s about trust; there are times when I’ve asked people to smile and they’ve gotten all suspicious: what are you trying to say here? Do I have something in my teeth?) We’ll save the ridiculous photographer requests for the upcoming summer session….
Here is The Way I Saw it. If this doesn’t work properly for you, or the fancy page turning effects just don’t do it for you, you can view as an html version, too.
It was a beautiful day in Stoney Plain the day of Byron and Ashton’s wedding. Which was unfortunate, as it turned the ground into a swampy mess. Which meant we were a bit limited in where we could go take pictures. Ah well, they’re a beautiful couple and take beautiful photographs, so I didn’t really need much in the way of a backdrop….
Here’s the way I saw the day. Click on the cover to view the album. If it’s too big, or you don’t like flash, or you can’t figure out how to turn the pages, you can view a simple HTML version instead.
I am officially in love.
These two were quite possibly the funnest wedding to shoot in a long time. They laughed at my jokes. They went hiking through knee-high snow to take pictures. I even made Jony blush, like half a dozen times.
Here’s part one of the previews: getting ready to getting married. As always, click on more for more.
