While it might not look like it yet, Christmas is fast approaching. And one of the staples of the Christmas season, alongside trees and presents and lights and sleighbells in the snow is charity.
Christmas is a time where we stop and recognize the less fortunate people in our community, in our country, and across the world. More importantly, it’s a time when we do something about it: Operation Christmas Child. The Christmas Seal Campaign. And of course, the Christmas Food Drive here in Tumbler Ridge headed by the Family Assistance Program.
Last year we started our first Photos for Food Fundraiser to support this amazing cause. This year on November 12-14, Eye For Detail Photography will be repeating this event, and you can help: all you have to do is say cheese. For a minimum $30 cash donation, plus a non-perishable food donation, you can help support the Tumbler Ridge Family Assistance Program. As a thank you, Eye For Detail will provide you with a complimentary mini photo session, plus a free 8X10 print. Call 250-219-8215 or email support@eyefordetailphotos.com. (If you read the article in the paper recently, please note that the size of the free print was incorrect! It will be an 8X10.)

Sawyer celebrated his first birthday this October and we had the honour of being invited to his party. A little less than a month before he turned one, we had the joy of shooting some amazingly colourful and fun photos of this little man. Here is one of my favourites.

Edyn & Melissa joined us in our home for a fun and cute photo session including multiple outfits. This little outfit her brilliant mommy put together took my heart away, as did this amazing little girl.

We had the honour of shooting two beautiful baby girls, when Morenzie’s mom joined Joey’s mom for a double photo session. This is one of my favourite images from Morenzie’s session.

Recently we launched our Bellies to Babies Program and had the privilege of meeting Joey and her mother Bri. This is one of my favourite images from that session.
