Throwback Thursday. This is Kim. You might recognize her from this week's Model Monday. Back in 2011, we went out to Backcock Falls for an engagement shoot. While we were there it started to rain, and then, a rainbow. I'd probably shoot this different now, but I love everything about this: the rainbow, the colour of the sky and how it contrasts with the green of the meadon, the movement in the dress. Sigh. ⠀#tumblerridge #tumblerridgephotography #model

Model Monday: This was taken last week while I was in Edmonton. Mostly I shoot out in nature, but I wanted to do some photos capturing the city at night. I wasn't expecting the snow, though. I had only one flash, which I used to light the falling snow from behind, so handed my phone to her friend/make-up artist and asked her to light the photo with a pair of iPhones. Seriously. ⠀⠀Some say the mark of a professional is all the latest gear. I say it's being able to take a pair of iPhones and get something that looks like this, but I'm biased. ⠀#tumblerridgephotographer #model #edmontonmodel

Teen Tuesday: Again with winter. This is@ellebsaj again, on a colder than cold day in Grande Prairie. ⠀We're calling these #teentuesdays, because I take pictures of is teens, especially grads. Not your typical smile and say cheese cap and gown photos, or rather, not just, though there's nothing wrong with those. But the cap and gown is there for just a day. Our #graditude sessions are grad photos with attitude. You're not the same as the person who sits beside you in chem, so why should your photos look the same? ⠀⠀#teentuesday #graditude #gradphotos #dress #outdoors
